What is Transformation and Change?
Transformation and change may seem similar words, some people look at them interchangeably, but there are some differences with each. Let me explain.
Transformation is whole lifestyle change. It’s where you change one aspect or a few aspects of your life and your whole life changes as a result.
Change is where you change one part or thing in your life and that part or thing changes. It doesn’t affect anything else.
Transformation of a Caterpillar 🐛
You could say a caterpillar changes, but that would be a huge understate right? A caterpillar goes through a few stages in its life, but nothing like it does when it transforms, which is what it’s doing when it becomes a butterfly.
Caterpillars eat and eat, they don’t know nothing else and they really don’t know what is coming for them. They just like to eat and get on with their lives. Then comes a stage where they get so full and bloated with all they have eaten they can’t move anymore they become stuck.
The only thing left for that caterpillar to do is to go inside their chrysalis. Inside that chrysalis they are going through a huge transformation. They essentially end up a goo with a small ball of cells inside that are different from the caterpillar cells. These cells form into the butterfly and they break free from their chrysalis as a new creature. This new crest who has to learn to navigate their world again with new eyes, from a new perspective.
This is transformation at his finest. One creature, to another with a whole new view of the world.
How does this relate to my transformation?
This is a huge help in explaining transformation because it’s similar to the stages of transformation we go through ourselves. We just get in with our lives living it as we always have. At some point we come to a stage where we feel stuck. We can’t go any further and we feel trapped in the life we created for ourselves. There feels like there is something more we should be doing but we are stuck and not sure where to go, so we go inside.
We look inside ourselves, go through our very own hermit mode, like the caterpillar and it’s chrysalis. We go within and whilst doing that we search to find ourselves, we may watch tonnes of YouTube videos, or read loads of books to try and find ourselves, work on ourselves and figure out what we should be doing with our lives and how to become unstuck again.
Eventually we slow down and we make the necessary changes we need to make, lots of little things that make up a huge transformation that we have gone through. We come out of that hermit mode a whole new person, just like the caterpillar and the butterfly.
My transformation story
I was a very lost girl at one point, I was living my life and just getting on with what I needed to do and then onte day everything changed. I got to a stage where I knew I had to do something, I didn’t know who I was or what I should be doing in my life, but I knew there had got be more.
In tarot they call in a hermit mode and I went into my own little hermit mode of personal development and for a while things were good and I was a different person for a while until I needed to go through it again. This time I through myself into tarot videos, Youtube videos and anything I could get my hands in to truly find out who I am and find it I did.
I came out of that chrysalis a new woman. Different that before and far cry from the girl I once was. I don’t even recognise that girl anymore, I can’t believe it was me, but it was.
I’ve gone from a girl who was so full of anxiety, self hate, and self doubt that I struggled to even leave the house or talk to anybody online. I isolated myself so much I had no friends to talk to because I pushed everyone away, Today I am confident, I shine my light and I am who I am. I am not afraid to be me, or to be seen, I am just me. It wasn’t easy to become my very own version of that butterfly and I believe i did because I am meant to help you do the same.

- Take action in what needs to be one.
- Become who you are meant to be
- Stand in your light and be your true self
Why Do I need Transformation and not change?
Transformation is a whole life thing, it WILL alter the way you see your life, yourself and your entire reason for being on this planet in the first place. Change will change an aspect of your life or part of it, but not everything else. For instance, you can change your eating habits and yes it will make you healthier, or unhealthy depending on how you change your diet. Weight changes may occur in changing your diet, but it won’t affect all life areas, just one or a few.
Mindset on the other hand, or finding your true self, or your life purpose has the potential to change all life aspects. If most certainly did with me. Change can also be temporary, but transformation, that shits for life. Things won’t be the same again and that is what you want and why you want to transform and it change.
When you decide to transform, you do so because you want your life to change permanently. You want lasting change so you can live more in alignment with your soul purpose. So you can fulfil your destiny and live the life of your dreams. That takes transformation.
It’s Only The Beginning
It’s only the beginning of transformation for many people, but I can guarantee it won’t take you as long as it took me. I don’t expect it to take you 4 years like I took to become who you are meant to be and start living your life purpose and fulfilling your destiny.
